Kevin Vaz is the Chief Executive Officer of the Entertainment Business at JioStar, where he leads the company’s entertainment division. Prior to this, he served as CEO at Viacom18 and earlier headed the entertainment business at Disney Star, where he played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and success.

An accomplished executive with nearly three decades of experience in the media and entertainment sector, Kevin is known for his visionary leadership and strategic acumen. During his tenure at Disney Star, he was instrumental in shaping the Tamil, Telugu, Bangla, and Marathi language markets, propelling the company’s channels in these segments to leading positions. He also successfully launched and managed 53 television channels, driving revenue growth and spearheading innovative content strategies.

At JioStar, his focus will be on elevating the network’s channels to leadership positions, scaling up revenue realisation, and expanding market share across genres and geographies. He holds a diploma from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, where he honed his expertise in the media and entertainment industry.
